Real Estate Tax Information
 
  First Installment:
  • Payments should include the installment coupon numbered "1" from the top right-hand portion of the bill.
  • Your check should be for the full amount of the installment and made payable to the WINNEBAGO COUNTY COLLECTOR.
  • To avoid any late penalty, the payment must be made on or before June 14, 2013.
  • A United States Postal Service postmark is accepted as date of payment in the calculation of a late penalty.
     
      Second Installment:
  • Payments should include the installment coupon numbered "2" from the bottom right-hand portion of the bill.
  • Your check should be for the full amount of the installment and made payable to the WINNEBAGO COUNTY COLLECTOR.
  • To avoid any late penalty, the payment must be made on or before September 6, 2013.
  • A United States Postal Service postmark is accepted as date of payment in the calculation of a late penalty.
     
      How to Pay Your Tax Bill:

  • You may pay in person at Winnebago County Treasurer Susan Goral's Office, located at:

    NOTE:
    A Discover Card terminal is located in our office which accepts property tax payments, at a sliding fee not to exceed $38.00.
      A form that can be used to authorize payment of taxes on Discover Card is mailed with the tax bill. Payments made on Discover Card form must be mailed or brought to our office to be entered into our Discover terminal. The form will not be accepted at banks or credit unions. Additional payment forms are available at our office and by mail or FAX.
